"I could not be happier with Vanderford Air. At the end of last summer, my A/C started having problems keeping up so I called a company referred to me. They told me I had a leak, but were unable to find the location of the leak on two separate visits. They added freon which got me through the winter, but as it started warming up, I noticed the same problem. I decided to call Vanderford Air based on reviews I read online. They sent somebody out the same day who was able to diagnose the problem within 10 minutes. The part where the leak was located had to be replaced. I was given an extremely reasonable quote, and since I was moving forward with the repair, was not even charged for the initial visit. I was told that they would be back in two days which was fine, but they ended up finding the new part in town and were out the very next day. The technicians were in an identifiable truck, in uniform, extremely polite, and took the additional time to explain everything they were doing. They completed the repair for the quoted price which was surprising as I have been up-charged by almost every other company in the past. If only I had called Vanderford first, I would have saved a ton of money. Thanks Vanderford Air! " |

I did a lot of research and got estimates from several different companies (Weeks, John Moore, Sears and some other smaller local businesses). While I did have a positive experience with most of these, I knew the moment Robert Vanderford left my home that I would be doing business with Vanderford Air. In fact I canceled 2 appointments coming the next day to give me estimates. He listened to everything I had to say and was more than knowledgeable enough to answer all my questions. I never felt like he was trying to 'sell' me. He gave me pricing for everything I requested and made a few recommendations to me without any pressure to choose the 'most expensive' item. The pricing is fantastic and the Carrier products are among the best in the business. I like that Vanderford chooses to have very up front pricing that included all fees and didn't try to nickel and dime with the 'extras'. They installed a complete system in my home and even put in a 2nd return air vent and re-arranged all the ductwork that was previously poorly installed by the home builder at no additional cost. The estimate is EXACTLY what I paid and the work upon inspection is fantastic. The technicians were courteous and willing to follow all of my house rules seeing as I have 2 small children and don't allow shoes indoors. I know it will be a long time before I need to install a new system, but I look forward to recommending Vanderford to everyone in the area and my semi-annual maintenance checkups." |

"We are so thankful for the team at Vanderford Air! We called because we noticed a constant drip coming out of a pipe/tube from our attic to the back of our house. Taylor (the service technician) came over the very next day and we are so thankful that he did! Not only did we have a blockage in our drainage line, but we also had a hole in our drip pan! We were only days away from extensive water damage in our attic! Thankfully Taylor was able to clean the lines and replace the drip pan before any water invaded our home. Thanks, Vanderford, for a job exceptionally well done in installing my Fujitsu mini split zone ductless a/c system. My house has limited attic space so working on the existing system would have required opening the roof to gain access, so I started shopping for a ductless air system. Vanderford responded very quickly and professionally with a fair bid. I liked the Vanderford price and the Vanderford representative so I chose them. In less than one week they had the system totally installed and working. Wow! For the first time I can comfortably cool my house, or any portion of it. The Fujitsu system is so quiet that sometimes I have to look at the vents to make sure it is even on. Recently I got my first electric bill since replacing the old, inefficient system. Our total kw usage was 53.6% of the average usage for the preceding three months. The period compared was for May, June, July and August billing cycles so I would have expected the August bill to be one of the highest of the year. Although this system was a serious investment it will pay for itself pretty quickly with the energy savings that we are experiencing. Best of all, my house is comfortable even on the hottest days. I would highly recommend Vanderford and the Fujitsu ductless system to anyone who wants efficiency, savings and comfort. Thanks, Vanderford! |

"I was pretty pleased with the experience. I got home late Friday night to a non-working downstairs AC. I went outside to check the compressor and detected that the fan motor had burned out. I shut off the breaker and called Vanderford at 8am Saturday morning, where I talked to a real person (not a machine) who scheduled a guy to come out. I got a phone call from him shortly afterwards, we discussed my perception of the problem, he asked for more information about the fan specs, which I got and gave him, so he could be sure to have the right part. By 9:30am or so he was in the driveway, was polite and professional and went to work straight away. The problem was the fan motor, so he replaced it and by late-morning I was back in business. Robert, I must say you have a wonderful Tech Taylor who did a fantastic job on my unit. I did not expect to pay a little over $1,000 but that was my choice and well worth it. I told my neighbor about your company and how well you keep up with the latest technology and so on. She has your # when she will need some work done. I told her about the Permafrost as well. I did not expect the outside unit ever needed cleaning. Taylor made it look like new and said as he did the Taylor set the thermostat very low and my house did not ever get that cold. I keep my Thermostat at about 79-80 and feels much colder then it actually is. Great Job Robert and may I suggest since I mentioned Permafrost in our initial phone call and you did use it. I am assuming a lot of people don't know about Permafrost and thought you may have that advertised on your web page if not already. Just a thought mate.

I was told by several other air conditioning companies that I needed a new complete a/c unit, costing anywhere from $3000 and up. I was told by a friend to call you guys "Vanderford Air" and give you a try, so I did. To my surprise the owner Robert Vanderford actually showed up to inspect my a/c. He was very professional and I felt he knew his business very well. After a good inspection, I was told all I needed was to fix a small Freon leak and my coils needed to be cleaned.
